Hello, October! Well, September went by in a flash, so it's time for another empties post. This is a surprisingly small amount of empties for me, which is kind of a good thing as I can keep this post short and sweet. 🙋
As always, I will link to products whenever possible.
So, let's see what I finished or not so much....
Kirkland Daily Facial Towelettes
This is Costco's house brand. I really like these wipes. They're a nice large size and very saturated. They do a good job at removing my makeup and I don't experience any irritation or breakouts.
Repurchase: Yes
Nexxus Humectress Hydrating Treatment Deep Conditioner
This was a decent deep conditioner, but it didn't really do anything special for my hair. My favourite deep conditioner is Paul Mitchel's Super Charged which I haven't purchased in a while since I'm always trying out new products.
Repurchase- If on sale and in a pinch
Eucerin Q10 Anti-Wrinkle Sensitive Skin Creme
I've used this moisturizer before. It's an excellent hydrator for my skin. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but I like this one as a general moisturizer after using all my fancy anti-aging serums, and it's not expensive. It's fragrance-free, alcohol-free, and non-comedogenic.
Repurchase- Yes
Annabelle Big Show Lip Shine
I purchased this when Target was sadly closing down here in Canada. 😢 I kept this gloss in my purse and used it pretty much daily. It wasn't sticky at all and it looked good over anything and everything.
Ps. As I was looking for a link to this product, I found out that it's an award winner! " the 2014 ELLE CANADA / ELLE QUÉBEC Beauty Grand Prix, BEST LIPGLOSS UNDER $20"
Repurchase- Possibly but I've decided to only keep 2-3 lip glosses in my possession at a time since they expire more quickly than say lipstick. And, I've got my eye on some of the new lip gloss oils. 😀
Natures' Answer Rhodiola Rosea
If you've seen my hauls or empties posts before, this won't be new to you. I've been taking this on and off for years. It's an adaptogen that is supposed to help us adapt to stress. It does help to prevent me from waking up at 4am for no reason and that's enough of a reason for me to keep on taking it!
Repurchase- YES!
Lush Sleepy Lotion
I received this sample free from Lush. I didn't want to shell out $20 for the full-size if it didn't work for me. The scent is very different for me. It has lavender and tonka perfume. I had never heard of tonka before, it's a very unusual scent to me. This took some getting used to before I began to really enjoy the scent. Did it help me sleep? I don't think it did but it did give me a relaxing feeling as I would breathe it in before bed.
Repurchase- I'll probably stick to my favourite Avalon Lavender body lotion for my relaxing, before-bed lotion.
TruFora Titanium Day Cream SPF 30
Unfortunately, I didn't get to use this up before it expired. I had every intention to but I have so many sunscreens that I just couldn't get to it in time. I share a lot of my excess products with friends and family but I did intend to use this one myself. Sadly, I wasted it!
Repurchase- Possibly
That's all for this month. I hope you enjoy seeing what I used or didn't use and if I liked the products enough to repurchase.
Happy October, everyone! 🍂🍂🍂🍂
