I received a sample of Sunday Riley's Luna Sleeping Night Oil and have been using it every night for over 3 weeks now. My experience with it has been great and it definitely deserves some accolades.
About Sunday Riley's Luna Sleeping Night Oil:
What it is: A next-generation retinol oil that helps skin look and feel plumper while improving the appearance of wrinkles, redness, and pores.

- Retinol: Helps fight the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, support natural skin elasticity, and exfoliates for smoother-looking skin.
- Blue Tansy and German Chamomile: Soothe skin.
- Chia Seed Oil: Minimizes the appearance of fine lines.
"This oil works throughout the night to deliver visibly luminous, even-toned skin by morning. It is formulated with blue tansy and German chamomile which help soothe the appearance of surface redness for a calm, even-toned complexion."
The product goes on blue but becomes clear once massaged into the skin. I like to apply it to slightly damp skin vs dry because I can use less product that way (3 drops vs. 5 on dry). I would suggest following the directions and applying to dry skin if your skin is sensitive.
I find the product very soothing and hydrating on my skin. I also love that this product saves me a step by serving like 2 products in one for me 1. a Retinol 2. an oil. It saves me from having to use a separate oil at night. I also like to use my gua sha at night and it works perfectly with this sleeping night oil as the oil helps the gua sha glide across my skin. I use the oil on both my face and my neck and follow up with a night cream.
What I notice so far with my skin is that it has become extremely soft, it looks more even toned, and wrinkles are definitely smoothed- especially my nose to mouth lines. I feel an improvement in the texture/ small bumps seem to be reducing. And, best of all for me, is when I wake up in the morning I look refreshed and well rested, even if I had a horrible sleep. I haven't experienced this so much with other products and I'm loving that about it!
I haven’t experiences any sensitivity to the product. My skin can be reactive and I haven't had any breakouts whatsoever. I think it's a great retinol product, even for sensitive skin types.
If you are looking for an effective retinol that is also gentle and also contain other wonderful anti aging ingredients, I definitely recommend giving this one a try!
